How to play?

 

Visit the eHost machines every Thursday from 08h00 to 12h00 and 13h00 to 18h00 to choose your 9 lucky numbers between 0-36 or select the quick pick option.

Participants qualify for a maximum of five (5) tickets per draw each.

The draw takes place at 12h00 and 18h00 at the Suncoast Main Stage.

Participants must match 9 numbers with 18 numbers drawn, to win the Progressive Jackpot. The Jackpot rolls over by R1,000 if not won

A consolation cash prize of R1,500 at each draw will be up for grabs if the Progressive Jackpot is not won.

  1. Any person who is under the age of 18, or who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from gambling and/or participating in this promotional competition.
  2. Super 9 promotional competition is exclusive to Suncoast Rewards cardholders (the “Participants”), and it is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  3. This promotion commences on 23 November 2023 to 28 March 2024.
  4. The promotion mechanics will be communicated via the marketing channels used to advertise this promotion. Participants who wish to be notified via SMS must opt-in to receive SMS communication
  5. Suncoast reserves the right to amend the mechanics of this promotion if deemed necessary. Any changes will be communicated.
  6. Participants must play Slots or Tables using their Suncoast Rewards card to earn points and qualify for Super 9 tickets.
  7. Participants will be entitled to tickets based on 100 points = 1 entry ticket criteria up to a maximum of 5 tickets per draw.
  8. Super 9 tickets must be earned weekly from Thursday to Wednesday (gaming day) for the draw the following Thursday at 12pm & 6pm. (for example, earn points from Thu 16 Nov to Wed 22 Nov gaming day)
  9. Super 9 tickets are determined by the number of points earned during the points-earning period and cannot be purchased through cash, points, or any other form of consideration.
  10. Points earned or tickets are not transferable.
  11. Participants must choose 9 unique numbers between 0-36 per ticket/entry at the eHost machines to enter the promotion.
  12. Super 9 ticket activation for qualifiers will open on Thursday between 8am to 12pm for the draw at 12pm and 1pm to 6pm for the draw at 6pm.
  13. Participants must activate their entries into the promotion(s), on the day of the promotion(s) prior to the actual promotion(s) within the specified times during which time the entry bin is open. The opening and closing times for a session ticket/s will be as follows:
  14. Participants stand a chance to win the Progressive Jackpot starting from a base value of R5,000 CASH and accumulates by R1,000 per game session if not won.
  15. A Random Number Selector system will be used to draw/generate winning numbers.
  16. Participants must match 9 numbers between 0-36 within 18 numbers drawn to win the Progressive Jackpot.
  17. It is the participant’s responsibility to check their entry ticket/s, shout “Super 9” and present themselves at the verification desk on the last number called if all nine numbers on their ticket match the numbers drawn.
  18. The participant/s to match 9 numbers within 18 unique numbers drawn will be verified and immediately, the 90-second countdown will be activated for other possible winners to present themselves at the verification desk. After the 90-second countdown has lapsed, the verified participant/s will be declared as the winner/s of the Progressive Jackpot. The Jackpot amount will be shared equally if there is more than one winner.
  19. Should participants not match 9 numbers within 18 unique numbers drawn, additional numbers will be drawn until there is a winner matching 9 numbers for a consolation prize of R1,500 CASH.
  20. The participant/s to match 9 numbers for the consolation prize will be verified and immediately, the 90-second countdown will be activated for other possible winners to present themselves at the verification desk to claim the prize. After the 90-second countdown has lapsed, the verified participant/s will be declared as the winner/s of the consolation prize. The consolation prize amount will be shared equally if there is more than one winner.
  21. No participant may attempt to claim a prize after the 90 seconds has lapsed.
  22. Participants must be present at the Suncoast Main Stage or promotional area when the numbers are drawn and the onus is upon each participant to check their selected unique numbers against the numbers drawn in order to ascertain if a winning combination has been achieved. If a participant declines to be present when winning numbers are drawn, they may nominate a proxy who is duly authorized in writing to act on their behalf.
  23. A register will be available at the Guest Services Desk and the Prive for the period between the opening and closing times of the entry bins before the actual draw, where a participant can register to still be acknowledged for the prize, should he/she decline to be present for that draw(s) or when the prize winners are announced on that day.
  24. Participants must register to decline to be present at the draws by completing a Proxy Form. Participants may nominate a Proxy to act on their behalf if they choose not to be present. Positive and acceptable form of identification must be presented by both the Participant and Nominee (If applicable) when completing the Proxy Form.
  25. Nominees or proxies may not represent more than one participant.
  26. Prize winners or nominated proxies who are present will be given 90 seconds to present themselves at the verification desk and must be in possession of evidence of the winning ticket and/or Rewards card belonging to the prize winner; and/or positive and acceptable form of identification.
  27. Should the winner not present a positive identification, reasonable steps shall be taken to verify the winner using the Patron Management System. Should proof of identification not be available on the Patron Management System or the system is offline, verification will not be possible and the onus is on the winner to present a valid and acceptable form of identification.
  28. On the last day of the promotion, should there be NO Progressive Jackpot winner on the 18th number drawn, the promotions team will continue to draw winning numbers until a winner/s of the Progressive Jackpot is announced. There will be no consolation prize of R1,500 on the day.
  29. If there is more than one (1) Jackpot winner, the amount will be shared equally among the winners.
  30. The promotions team will validate each ticket before each participant is announced as a winner.
  31. Prizes will be in the form of cash vouchers redeemable at any Suncoast Cashdesk. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for +Play or any other form of consideration unless otherwise advertised.
  32. Prizes must be collected and signed for receipt thereof by the relevant Prize Winner within 15 days of the draw. Should the prize winner be eligible for a prize but not present, the casino shall take all reasonable steps to contact the prize winner via the contact details on the Patron Management System or readily available. In such circumstances, the prize winner may within 15 days of the draw claim the prize from the Guest Services Desk.
  33. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
  34. Any person transgressing from the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
  35. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management. This may include rescheduling times and a draw date.
  36. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  37. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
