Suncoast CSI Project | March 2017

Painting a brighter future for those in need!

Suncoast staff recently assisted in the mini-renovation and painting of one of the rooms at Vukukhanye’s foster home in the community of Chesterville. Once the transformation is complete it will be used as a computer and study room for the foster children currently being cared for by the non-profit organisation.

Led by Suncoast’s Employee Services Co-ordinator, Basil Simons, Suncoast staff assisted Vukukhanye CEO, Anthony van der Meulen in the scraping, patching and sanding down of the interior walls before prepping for painting.

“Vukukhanye is our primary CSI partner of choice and we at Suncoast are always looking for ways to assist them and the community of Chesterville – our adopted community” says Basil Simons.

The visit forms part of Suncoast’s monthly community upliftment projects, whereby volunteer staff members assist Chesterville-based schools, organisations and projects identified by Vukukhanye as needing assistance.

Vukukhanye is a non-profit and public benefit organisation concerned with the care and support of orphans and vulnerable children and vulnerable families particularly in the community of Chesterville in Cato Manor. For more information on Vukukhanye visit or contact (031) 262-0958.
