Suncoast Casino Hotels & Entertainment’s latest addition to the complex is Café Vigour, a bistro styled coffee shop which opened its doors on the 14th April 2014. With over 12000 guests served, more than 3000 cups of coffee drunk and almost 2 000 breakfasts eaten since opening, Café Vigour is soon becoming a firm favourite with many SUNCOAST visitors.
This chic new coffee shop is situated near the main entrance to the casino and is the ideal spot for friends and family to enjoy a meal and relax in the cosy yet vibrant coffee shop. Inspired by a fusion of South African and latest international trends in decor, Café Vigour’s design can be described as contemporary yet casual.
Café Vigour features a simple, wholesome menu of delicious food options that incorporate breakfast and dessert harvest tables, popular signature dishes, local favourites, fresh and lovely salads, sandwiches with intriguing and delectable fillings, burgers and pizzas with a difference, and wraps – all clearly explained with a liberal sprinkling of South Africanisms and fun icons throughout.
The launch of Café Vigour within the Vigour & Verve coffee shop brand by Tsogo Sun, heralds a new direction for the company as the Group establishes strong new brands to carry its extensive food and beverage offerings to greater heights.
SUNCOAST Marketing Manager, Louise Howell, said she was thrilled that SUNCOAST was able to launch the first Café Vigour in the Group. “The coffee shop is a perfect fit with our brand and it’s a welcome offering to our guests who are able to enjoy everything from a delicious breakfast to a light meal at lunch or dinner. Café Vigour conforms with all the aspects of food that we expect today, from being delicious and wholesome, to the quality of ingredients and how ethically we source them, through to good delivery. It’s the great experience that our guests expect from SUNCOAST and in fact any Tsogo Sun venue.”
Food and Beverage Manager, Puroshini Naidoo said “It’s an exciting time for our department. Serving a new menu to customers is a culinary journey that we’re more than ready to take,” she added.
