The Mercury Wine Week

Now in its 32nd year, wine-lovers will have the opportunity of tasting the widest variety of wines available at one place in KwaZulu-Natal, when the annual Mercury Wine Week takes place at SUNCOAST from 25-26 August 2010.

This year over 5 500 enthusiasts are expected to attend one of Durban's most popular social gatherings and the organizers have promised an event 'bigger and better than ever before.'

Over 140 of the country's top wine estates are expected to book their places at South Africa's premier wine event and will be showcasing their popular ranges as well as some previously untasted wines.

Enjoy the opportunity of tasting and enjoying the products of the big wine distributors and retailers, alongside those of smaller wine farms and estates. In addition, a number of new estates will be showing at The Mercury Wine Week for the first time.

This event also offers wine buyers and sellers the chance to mingle with the public and wine connoisseurs in a relaxed, convivial setting. Members of the public will also be able to buy wines at great prices over the show period.

Tickets are R90 per person and are available from Computicket or at the door.
