Since the start of yoga classes in 2006 and the continued success of the triathlon series, SUNCOAST has built a reputation as a venue that offers excellent fitness and health lifestyle opportunities to its patrons.

This growth as resulted in a demand for more varied exercise programmes that cater for different lifestyles and activities. Lisa Raleigh, one of SA’s lifestyle and wellness experts has joined with SUNCOAST to offer a weekly programme that is affordable and easily accessible.

Kickboxing
Learn how to throw a right hook while you get fit! Practiced across the world, kickboxing is a popular martial art fighting style that incorporates strikes with your hands and feet. Whether you looking to learn self-defense or just to keep fit, instructors will guide you through numerous punch-kick combinations to keep your body warm and active, as you burn calories and lose weight.

Zumba
Come and dance your body to into shape! Combining Latin and international music with fun, Zumba is an effective work out system that involves dance and aerobic elements. Unlike a typical dance class where counts are used, Zumba involves following the music with repetitive dance movements that include hip-hop, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo, martial arts and some Bollywood and belly dance moves

Bootcamp
Fitness bootcamp classes are generally held outdoors & encapsulate various outdoor elements such as ledges, hills and stairs. Typical bootcamp fitness exercises include squats, push-ups, jogging and body weight exercises. Bootcamps are strenuous exercise regimes, with significant physical results including increased aerobic and anaerobic fitness. All levels of fitness can participate.

Yoga
Looking for physical; mental and spiritual discipline? Then come and discover the amazing ability of your body to move, balance, lift and support and increase the ability of your mind to focus. Get fit, toned and ready for summer with SUNCOAST's FREE yoga sessions every Thursday from 5.30pm to 6.30pm at the SUNCOAST beach. SUNCOAST's Thursday evening yoga sessions are open to everyone and cater for all levels - from beginner to advanced.

Core Fit
Sculpt those abs with a killer conditioning class, designed to strengthen your core and tone your body. A strong core improves posture, pinches in your waist and can prevent and reduce back pain. The Core Fit class will include effective and challenging resistance exercises, paying special attention to your midsection.
