Join us on the 23rd October at Suncoast Casino and Entertainment World to celebrate, a book on the food, the sub-tropical ingredients, the masala of people, dishes and culinary traditions which reflect how distinctively we cook and eat on the KZN Indian Ocean coast. And how differently, though in a typically spicy, vivid way, we treat fresh local produce.
EASTCOAST tables has been published by East Coast Radio, with Authors Erica & Gwyn Platter and Photographer Clinton Friedman whose pics simply say ‘This is the coast of KZN. This is our food, these our flavours, enjoy them with us’
Devi Sankaree Govender, of Carte Blanche, who grew up on a farm on the KZN coast and also contributed her Zulu Chicken Curry recipe, will be joining us along with Author Erica Platter and Chefs from Havana Grill and Café Vacca Matta at 13h00 on 23rd October for a Cooking Demonstration and Book Signing outside the EastCoast Radio Studio.
Books will be on sale with Club Festival Members receiving a 10% discount when producing their Membership cards.
