Hyundai Brings the Teams – You Bring the Gees!
For the last week, Hyundai Park at SUNCOAST has been a hive of festive activity and World Cup fun. Locals and visiting football fans have flocked to the vibrant park located on SUNCOAST’s SUNstrip, just metres away from both the Moses Mabhida Stadium and the beachfront.
From fans dressed in all-in-one South African lycra flag suits to Swiss, Spanish and orange clad Dutch fans, the sunny east coast has seen it all.
To add to the excitement, each time there is a game played in Durban, Hyundai’s thrilling Fan Van competition sees one lucky visitor to the park stand the chance of winning a pair of tickets to the match and being whisked off to the stadium that instant.
Says Durbanite Gary Smith who won tickets to the thrilling Spain vs. Switzerland match at the Hyundai Park on Wednesday 16 June 16, “I woke up that day just thinking that we would watch the game at a fan park. Little did I know that thanks to Hyundai I would be at the game! It was an amazing experience to be there,” commented Mr Smith.
The festivities at SUNCOAST will continue for the duration of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ with entertainment and more ticket giveaways on match days. Hyundai Park at Suncoast is just one of three sponsored Hyundai Parks in Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town. Entry is free when you register on www.hyundai.co.za. Entry is based on a first come, first served basis. All guests are therefore encouraged to arrive early.
