High demand for tickets has seen organisers opening bookings for CANSA Durban’s ‘Night of 100 Stars’ gala charity event via Computicket this week, rather than only via the CANSA office.
The star-studded event will be held at Suncoast Casino & Entertainment World on Monday 16 August. It brings onto one stage, for one evening only, the best of South Africa’s stage and screen stars, all in aid of cancer research and awareness projects in the greater Durban region.
Tickets will be available through Computicket from the weekend of Friday, 23 July, at R500 per person or R5,000 per table. This includes complimentary wine, a delectable selection of gourmet cuisine and an evening of top class entertainment.
On the bill are comedian Joey Rasdien; award-winning actor, musician and vocalist Tim Wells; the multitalented, comedic couple, Aaron McIlroy and Lisa Bobbert; actor Ben Voss and his hilarious BEE alter ago, Beauty Ramapelepele; singer and cabaret artist, Melanie Roberts, Durban dancers from Eeny Meeny Mino Mo Entertainment, the high-energy band, Solid Gold; former Idols Top 10 contestant and accomplished stage personality, Pume Zondi; singer Lauren Laing; Black Magic vocalist Khaya Mthethwa; singer Timothy Moloi; actress Gina Shmukler, whom Johannesburg audiences will see this year in the smash-hit, Mamma Mia; Durban’s velvet-voiced Lyle Buxton; opera singer and Radio Zulu presenter, Thokozani Mkhize-Ndlovu; ‘Kicking it Country’ stars Janna Ramos-Violante, Darren King and Marion Loudon; Kirsten Dey, who will perform an excerpt from her role in Hairspray, which ran recently at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre; Durban Diva Pinkie Mtshali and veteran performer Sam Marais. |
