SUNCOAST is a sponsor of Pirates, one of the oldest lifesaving clubs in Durban. Visitors to the SUNCOAST Beach can rest assured that they are protected by the best, as the Pirates Lifesaving Club is right next door and the 400 active members are always happy to help out. SUNCOAST sponsors many events held by Pirates, and is involved in social development programmes in the area.

SUNCOAST is also a partner of the Sunfoil Dolphins, KwaZulu-Natal's provincial cricket team. The Dolphins are VIP's at the complex, and are often prominent figures at various functions and events on the property. In the interests of promoting the sport, SUNCOAST has invested funds in the KZN Cricket Union's coaching programme, which is aimed at improving the standard of development coaching in the region through strong sustainable programmes.

Take to the Boardwalk for a stroll.  Start at SUNCOAST and head north to Moses Mabhida Stadium or go south towards Ushaka Marine World or simply sit on the beach and enjoy the view. Blessed with beautiful weather all year round, the Boardwalk is the perfect setting for those lazy summer days.
